I’M LIKE
story of my life.
me: what are you doing?
my twelfth grade student in the seminary: looking at you.
it’s been an amazing summer holiday but it’s time to get back to reality. tomorrow will be my first day at a new job as an all boys high school teacher. wish me luck!
ps - travel stories are soon to come.
focused
determined

allowing myself to consider what i have done in the past, accepting where i am now, knowing i am right where i should be. knowing that whatever has happened has helped me get here.
big thanks to the universe.
dear friends & family all over the world, i miss you dearly.
i ordered a cappuccino to go. i received it in a glass mug and was asked to return the mug later. only in india.
bundled up in darjeeling sipping on tea and enjoying the view of the himalayas. its been a well appreciated [and needed] change of weather & pace.
i have not showered in five days. but is that really my fault when my hotel bathroom only offers a cold water faucet and bucket?
“the plain fact is that the world does not need more successful people, but it does desperately need more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers, and lovers of every kind. it needs people who live well in their places. it needs people of moral courage willing to join the fight to make the world habitable and humane. and these qualities have little to do with success as our culture has defined it.”
